Degrees
Engineering Outreach (EO) delivers the coursework for master’s degrees that are exactly the same as those offered on campus. Your diploma will not reference EO or state that the degree was completed online.
Most EO students take one or two courses per semester. It may take approximately three to five years to complete a master’s degree. You can complete all required coursework at a distance. Depending on your degree, you may need to take a comprehensive final exam or defend your thesis on campus before graduating.
The graduate degrees delivered through EO are listed below:
EO delivers a wide variety of undergraduate courses, but it is not possible to earn a bachelor’s degree completely online through the program.
Information about academic background, GPA and departmental requirements for each degree can be found at Graduate Admissions.
Semester Application Priority Deadline:
Summer and Fall Semesters (May–December), February 1
Spring Semester (January–May), September 1
Students may apply at any time. Applications received by the priority date will receive first consideration by the academic department. Applications received after the priority date will be considered; however, the department may postpone making admission decisions on late applications until the following semester.
If the deadline for a specific semester has passed, you can apply as a non-degree student and take courses until your graduate application is accepted. Work with your adviser to ensure the course(s) can be applied toward your degree.
