Leaves - Time Away from Work

As an employee, you have a variety of leave options available. Learn more about:

  • Sick and Annual Leave — paid sick leave and vacation time
  • Family and Medical Leave — Up to 12 weeks of protected leave for eligible medical situations. FML is unpaid leave, but concurrent wage replacement options may be available through other types of leave.
  • Paid Parenting Leave — paid leave to be used in the 12 weeks immediately following the birth, adoption or foster placement of a child.
  • Shared Leave — paid leave to bridge any gap between when you use up your sick leave and when you become eligible for other types of leave.
  • Short-Term and Long-Term Disability — partial income replacement when you are unable to work for an extended period.
  • Workers' Compensation — partial wage replacement for employees with a medical condition that arose out of and in the course of employment.
